| hello everyone! |
Today marked my 6th treatment and only 2 more to go! It is a great feeling knowing that I only have 1 more this year and one more next year. If all goes well with the PET scan after my treatments are finished then I do not have to continue chemo anymore and more on to radiation. Some time in February and March my radiation will begin for about 3-4 weeks when all said and done.
My white blood cell count continued to go up again. For what it means to everyone, my count along with other things mixed in there it was at 1500. Anything above 1000 for me is good. At my lowest so far was at 700 and that was when I was put on the antibotic. So here is hoping all continue to goes well in that area.
My regular doctor, Dr. Cook was out sick today so I saw Dr. Patel the other doctor there. It was nice to hear the same thing from someone else, like getting a second opinion if you will. Things are going well and my masses are shrinking. I am just taking it still one day at a time, but in the same moment I am looking to the future and that is a good feeling.
I do wish each and everyone of you a very merry christmas. This will be Audrey's first and our first together. I feel very honored to have this opportunity to celebrate each year with her and Bobby. I know I will cherish this day of Christmas and all that it has to offer."When we recall Christmas past, we usually find that the simplest things - not the great occasions - give off the greatest glow of happiness."

**A very special thank you to Christy VanVranken and family-the timing couldn't have been more perfect for the delicious gingersnaps cookies that arrived today after my treatment. The history of the family who runs Susansnaps just hard to believe. Within one year of time 3 of her family members (husband, daughter and sister)had to undergo chemotherapy. Thank you again!
**Also a special thank you to Roben Carter who faithfully comes over each Friday after treatment to deliver a delicious meal. She also has fought the battle of cancer-breast cancer. She is a strong amazing woman! Who knew that when we met that we were just a few months apart in age, lived around the block from each other and fighting for our lives.
Martha, you have a great attitude! My continued prayers and good thoughts are with you :) great picture of your princess!
