Halfway there...

This is me today hooked up to my pump for my chemo. The
tube inserts into my port in my upper chest.  I just
wanted to give you how it looks!
4th chemo treatment is finished!  I am halfway there and things going very well.  I am so happy to be at this point in my treatment.  I will have 3 more treatments in December and then one in January--such a great feeling.  After my last treatment I felt like the chemo was kicking my butt some with feeling tired and sick to my stomach, so we'll see what happens this time.

Well I still have my hair which is a lot longer than I thought I was going to have it.  It is falling out so I am thinking after this last treatment more will continue to fall.  I think I am just going to see what happens and I guess after I get my first bald spot it may be time to shave it off. I have really come to terms with losing it.  For sure it isn't something I want, but in the grand scheme of things it will be okay.  I do have to say it wasn't easy to get to this point, I have had some dark days but it will be ok again.   I ended up coloring my hair because hey why not!  I picked a color that I know I would never pick, a bright blonde lol.  Well it looked somewhat ok lol. But boy oh boy if there is every a quick way to detach yourself from your hair is by coloring it something you are not so cool with :)

So as it stands now I am half way there and things are looking pretty good!

**On another note I would like to thank some of the wonderful women I used to work with at Caldwell Heights in Round Rock, Texas.  I received your such thoughtful gifts and words and I can't thank you enough.  It really means a great deal to me, so again thank you and I truly miss you all.
